From Swainson's to Kirtland's
A Tour Targeting All the Warblers of the Eastern U.S.
May 12 - 20, 2020
Warblers are one of the most colorful and exciting groups of birds in the United States. On this tour, we will aim to find all of the warblers that regularly occur in the eastern U.S. We’ll start in Kentucky where our main target will be the highly sought after Swainson’s Warbler. From there, we’ll travel north to world-famous birding hotspot Magee Marsh. Here we will enjoy the spectacle of spring migration. Our final stop will take us to Michigan in search of the endangered Kirtland’s Warbler. We could end up seeing 38 warbler species as well as a host of other resident and migrant species.
