Panama: Canopy Camp
June 14 - 22, 2019
Come to Panama with Sabrewing Nature Tours and celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Canopy Family!
Although birders have been visiting central Panama for many years, the Darién province has remained relatively unexplored. That has started to change with the opening of Canopy Camp a few years ago! This amazing African safari tent camp makes exploring the region easy and comfortable! In addition to the wonderful birding on the Camp property, we'll make day trips to other areas in the Darién to find many of the special species that call this area home such as Gray-cheeked Nunlet, Dusky-backed Jacamar, and Stripe-cheeked Woodpecker. Provide there is an active nest, we'll also spend a day searching for the incredible Harpy Eagle!
