From high mountain páramo to incredible wetlands, Costa Rica has a wide variety of habitats to visit. On this tour, we’ll visit many of these habitats and we’ll end up with quite the long and varied bird list as a result. A small sampling of our highlight species might include Resplendent Quetzal, Coppery-headed Emerald (endemic), Mangrove Hummingbird (endemic), Agami Heron, Baird’s Trogon, and many, many more. We’ll also be staying at some of the most famous lodges in Central America while in Costa Rica including, La Selva Biological Station, Arenal Observatory Lodge, Savegre Mountain Lodge, and more.
